Endeavor Health's Woodridge location seeks a Patient Access Representative to perform pre-registrations, registrations and cash collection for in-patient, out-patient, ER and same-day surgery patients. You will collect demographics and insurance details, verify eligibility, and record medical information accurately.

You will interact with patients and families to ensure clarity on billing options and hospital policies, while supporting efficient revenue cycle operations and data integrity.

Qualifikationen

• High School diploma or GED.
• Associate degree in business or healthcare (Preferred).
• Knowledge of health insurances, medical terminology and anatomy.
• Strong data entry and keyboarding skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Bilingual skills.

Aufgaben

• Provide in-patient, out-patient, emergency and same day surgery pre-registrations, registrations and related cash collection tasks.
• Collect and verify demographic, insurance and clinical data from multiple sources.
• Screen for third-party eligibility and enter medical necessity coding.
• Explain revenue cycle processes to patients and families and offer payment options as needed.
• Operate with accuracy within hospital policies and patient information systems.
