Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalency plus healthcare experience preferred.
• Knowledge of third-party resources (Medicaid, Medicare, Veterans Benefits, SSI, etc.).
• Ability to access the correct medical record number and avoid duplicates.
• Familiarity with patient registration systems and data entry.
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills and discretion.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and collect demographic and insurance information.
• Assist in scheduling and maintaining clinic availability using RPMS and Moonwalk.
• Interview patients to determine eligibility and initiate new or reactivated health records.
• Verify third-party eligibility coverage and prepare charts; assist with monthly reports to Supervisor.
• Maintain patient confidentiality at all times and handle sensitive information professionally.
