• Completes annual educational requirements.
• Maintains regulatory requirements (state, federal, CMS).
• Reports to work on time and as scheduled.
• Wears identification and uses computerized time system correctly.
• Attends in-services, staff meetings, and reads memos.

Responsibilities

• Pre-registers patients for scheduled admissions and procedures.
• Interview patients to obtain or verify personal and insurance information.
• Obtain signatures on admission forms and affix patient ID bracelet.
• Communicate with supervisor, nursing staff, and departments.
• Collect payments after Business Office hours and forward receipts.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional patient interactions.
