Job summary

Behavioral Health Group (BHG) is the largest network of Joint Commission-accredited treatment centers providing opioid addiction treatment services with over 115 locations in 24 states. The Patient Registration Coordinator will greet patients, verify IDs and insurance, manage accounts, and perform essential clerical tasks in a part-time role at BHG’s Richmond and Berea offices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of general office or clerical experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Healthcare or front desk experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients entering the clinic.
• Verify patient identification and program participation.
• Manage patient accounts and collect co-pays/deductibles/coinsurance.
• Verify insurance eligibility and authorization; communicate status to patients.
• Prepare and distribute weekly/monthly financial reports.
• Complete and file routine clerical tasks and maintain organized records.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate intakes with physicians.
• Maintain chart monitoring systems and ensure confidentiality.
