The Patient Registration Representative at Medical University of South Carolina serves as the first contact for patients, guiding them through registration and distributing paperwork for care. You collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to ensure accurate records and smooth ambulatory visits.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent with admin experience or related degrees; proficiency in typing and basic computer skills; EPIC and insurance knowledge preferred.

Competenze

• High school diploma or higher and 2 years of admin experience, or relevant degree.
• Typing speed of 25 CWPM and basic computer skills required.
• EPIC experience and knowledge of insurance preferred.
• Excellent communication and guest relations skills.

Mansioni

• Serve as initial point of contact for patients and complete registration.
• Work with physicians and nurses to support ambulatory care.
• Explain policies and assist with payment arrangements and patient billing questions.
