LCMC Health is seeking a detail-oriented Registration/Admitting Associate to support scheduling, registration, and admissions at our facility. The role emphasizes accurate data entry, insurance verification, and facilitating a smooth patient flow through the front-end process.

You will provide compassionate customer service, balance cash transactions, and coordinate with care teams to ensure timely patient care and proper documentation in the Electronic Medical Record system.

Qualifications

• Handles scheduling, registration, messaging and admissions accurately and timely.
• Verifies demographics, insurance and guarantor information for new/existing patients.
• Performs insurance verification and communicates financial responsibilities to patients.
• Balances cash drawer and processes payments following policy.
• Delivers warm, efficient customer service to patients, families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and schedules visits with appropriate provider and location.
• Registers patients, activates accounts and records demographic information in the system.
• Completes required forms and documents with accuracy and completeness.
• Notifies providers and uses messaging tools for timely communication.
• Maintains accurate patient financial data and assists with financial counseling as needed.
