Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Validate and register patients' demographic, medical and financial information accurately and timely.
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and staff while maintaining confidentiality.
• Collect and verify patient demographics, insurance and pre-certification information.
• Coordinate patient flow with scheduling, bed control, and nursing units for efficient routing.
• Explain hospital policies, consent forms, and insurance requirements to patients.
• Maintain compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and inform supervisors of issues.
