Responsibilities

• Interview patients or their representatives to obtain complete demographic, financial, and insurance information for billing and collections.
• Screen for insurance pre-certification requirements.
• Identify the patient, resolve duplicate medical record numbers, and ensure privacy rights and system privacy practices are explained.
• Contribute to Revenue Cycle by maintaining accuracy in registrations and related tasks.
