Responsabilidades

• Obtains or validates patient information and registers patients into the system with high service levels.
• Ensures all necessary demographic and financial data are collected and documented.
• Maintains patient safety through correct patient identification practices.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient PHI at all times.
• Works daily reports and account work queues to ensure data integrity.
• Handles patient inquiries related to registration.
• Calculates payment information and accepts funds for Time of Service collections.
• Ensures EMTALA rules are followed when registering patients through ED and Obstetrics.
