Responsibilities

• Process patient accounts from scheduling to pre-bill editing.
• Schedule patients for non-complex services and verify data; resolve insurance issues.
• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits; complete pre-certification when required.
• Communicate with patients to explain financial obligations and collect payments.
• Perform registration, admission, discharge, and transfer tasks as applicable.
• Maintain compliance with Joint Commission, HIPAA, and organizational policies.
