Job summary

AdventHealth in Middleton, Florida is hiring for a Guest Services role. You will answer calls, welcome patients, collect and verify demographics and insurance data, and register patients for services.

You will work to maximize reimbursement and support post-care financial needs while maintaining excellent patient experiences. The position requires completion of high school and preferred associate-level education in health services administration.

Qualifications

• Associate or higher in health services administration or related field preferred.
• High School diploma required.
• Experience in health care access or medical office preferred.
• CHAA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls, greet patients, and enter demographics and insurance data.
• Register patients for services and verify/bill information in systems.
• Process forms and manage discharge and reimbursements as needed.
• Coordinate with clinical partners to ensure smooth patient access.
• Provide patient education on test locations and portal use.
• Request co-pays and/or outstanding balances at check-in.
• Support the Guest Services department and maintain a safe work environment.
