Job summary

Kids for the Future in Massachusetts is seeking a Registration Professional to support patient intake. You will greet patients, collect demographic and insurance data, verify coverage, review EMR information, and prepare forms and deposits. The shift is 8:00 AM–8:00 PM, with Monday/Friday and alternating weekends.

This part-time, non-exempt role requires a high school diploma and 1–3 years in customer service, preferably in healthcare, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and EMR systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education is a plus.
• 1–3 years of customer service experience, preferably in a medical office or healthcare setting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients in a courteous, professional manner.
• Obtain accurate demographic and insurance information and verify coverage for all patients.
• Review patient information in the EMR for completeness and accuracy.
• Provide forms to patients for completion and signatures, ensuring all fields are completed and scanned.
• Review past-due balances and collect payments as required.
• Pre-register patients prior to arrival.
• Audit and balance daily financial transactions and prepare end-of-day reports.
