Job summary

Qualifications

• Six months of health care financial experience or six months of cash handling experience.
• Six months of customer service in a high-volume environment.
• Two years of keyboarding/typing and using multiple computer applications in Windows.

Responsibilities

• Register patients for clinic, hospital, ambulatory, or emergency services in a fast-paced setting.
• Verify patient demographics and insurance information and collect payments per policies.
• Input data accurately, verify eligibility, and guide patients to financial resources as needed.
• Answer questions from patients, visitors, or staff and maintain compliance with SOX controls.
