Jackson Hospital (Marianna) seeks a healthcare front desk associate to support pre-registration, registration, and financial clearance at the point of service. You will verify insurance, coordinate benefits, and collect patient responsibility while maintaining HIPAA compliance.

The role requires a high school diploma, accuracy in data entry, excellent communication, and the ability to lift light luggage as needed. On-site work with a focus on patient satisfaction and efficient billing processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Healthcare office experience preferred.
• Ability to type 40–50 words per minute.

Responsabilités

• Handle pre-registration and registration, payer identification and verification, referrals to financial counseling, and point of service collections.
• Gather and enter patient demographic and benefit information accurately into computer systems.
• Verify benefits eligibility and coordination of benefits; determine and collect patient financial responsibility at the point of service.
• Adhere to regulatory requirements (HIPAA, EMTALA) and use AIDET to provide excellent customer service to patients and families.
