Job summary

Henry Ford Jackson Hospital is seeking a Clinical Service Representative for Systems and Support. The role involves patient registration, check-in/check-out, preregistration, insurance verification, cash handling, chart reconciliation, and discharge coordination.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must perform calculations, complete forms, and use computer systems.
• Familiarity with clinic environment preferred; strong attention to details.
• Interpersonal skills to deal with patients, visitors, medical staff, and others.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting and work in a team.
• Yearly competencies must be completed.
• Basic computer skills: opening software, email, logging in/out.
• Ability to work with diverse populations.
• Dependable and punctual.
• Strong organizational skills and multitasking ability.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and assist with face-to-face check-in and check-out.
• Conduct preregistration and insurance verification.
• Handle cash collections and chart reconciliation.
• Assist with patient discharge and coordinate with the Customer Service Center.
