Regional One Health is seeking a front desk/registration clerk for Trauma Acute in Memphis. You will gather, enter, and verify patient information, collect co-pays, and facilitate the care process with accurate data entry.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of a clerical or medical office program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients upon arrival.
• Complete and verify registration information for each patient, including identity and address checks; verify eligibility for current service date.
• Collect co-pays and record payments; provide receipt and enter into system; maintain cash drawer.
• Update system as 'checked in' for communication with clinical staff; handle encounter edits and scheduling as needed.
• Perform check-out duties, schedule follow-ups, and assist with referrals as directed.
• Monitor waiting room for customer service issues and update patients every 10 minutes if providers run behind.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient and hospital information per HIPAA, confidentiality, and compliance policies.
