Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and verifies registration information.
• Collects co-pays and processes payments; updates system accordingly.
• Verifies patient identity and insurance details per protocol.
• Checks in and out patients; coordinates follow-up scheduling.
• Performs eligibility checks and handles encounter edits as needed.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and adheres to HIPAA policies.
• Communicates with practice managers and care teams as required.
• Schedules referrals and authorizations for outside services.
