You will verify demographics, collect insurance information, and assist patients with self-registration while ensuring patient safety and consent are obtained.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and 2+ years of relevant experience; Epic RC/EMR experience is preferred.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of relevant experience preferred.
• HFMA Certification preferred.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively.
• Basic computer/keyboard skills; intermediate math competency.
• Good written and verbal communication skills; professional phone etiquette.

• Register patients accurately in the hospital or ED setting, via in-person, phone, or virtual channels.
• Verify patient demographics and collect insurance data; create or identify accounts.
• Obtain signatures and provide required forms or letters; assist patients with self-registration as needed.
• Adhere to patient safety protocols and obtain appropriate consents.
• Support hospital presumptive eligibility or Medicaid applications as needed.
• Maintain productivity standards and accuracy in registrations and scheduling.
