Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Register patients with demographic and insurance information accurately.
• Verify health insurance and complete pre-certification when needed.
• Collect co-pays/deductibles and balance cash handling and deposits.
• Answer phones, schedule appointments, process referrals and documentation.
• Maintain confidentiality of medical records and office communications.
• Greet patients and direct them to appropriate destinations.
• Coordinate admissions, procedures, and bed assignments with physicians and departments.
• Assist with orientation and daily tasks of staff; monitor workflows and data entry.
