Job summary

Baptist Health in Frankfort, KY is seeking Patient Access Coordinators to handle front office duties, verify patient demographics and insurance, register patients, and schedule appointments. You will determine out-of-pocket costs, collect payments or provide financial counseling, and manage patient flow and records with professional accuracy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Computer skills are required.
• Must have own reliable, independent transportation.
• Clerical experience in the medical office setting preferred.
• Other education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors and verify demographics and insurance information.
• Register patients and obtain necessary signatures.
• Determine patient out-of-pocket expenses and document payments or financial counseling as appropriate.
• Schedule appointments and manage patient flow.
• Operate switchboard and handle patient inquiries.
• Maintain medical records and ensure accuracy.
