The position includes clerical support such as typing, mail handling, faxes, and supply ordering. Typically Monday through Friday, with a focus on accurate data entry, timely deposits, and strong patient service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Computer skills required for daily tasks and records.
• Medical terminology knowledge preferred for accurate record keeping.
• Prior medical office experience preferred to support front-desk duties.

Responsibilities

• Make patient appointments and reminder calls.
• Greet, register and check in or out all patients.
• Verify demographics and insurance; enter into the system.
• Collect co-pays and prepare daily deposits and reconciliations.
• Relay messages to and from providers and log them.
• Provide clerical support: typing, mail, faxes, and ordering supplies.
