Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, solid computer skills, and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Computer skills are required.
• Own reliable, independent transportation.
• Clerical experience in a medical office setting preferred.
• Other education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors and verify demographic and insurance information.
• Register patients and collect signatures as needed.
• Determine patients’ out-of-pocket expenses and collect payments or provide financial counseling.
• Schedule appointments and manage patient flow; operate switchboard and assist with medical records management.
