Job summary

CommonSpirit Mountain Region is seeking a Patient Access Representative in Colorado to support the patient journey through accurate registration of demographic and financial information. The role includes interviewing patients, verifying benefits, collecting patient portions, and mentoring new associates.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex financial requirements clearly, ensuring a positive patient experience

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Preferred: healthcare office experience, medical terminology, multitasking and prioritization skills.

Responsibilities

• Register patients accurately and courteously with demographic and financial data.
• Verify insurance eligibility and document details.
• Collect patient portions prior to or at service.
• Obtain signatures and scan documents into the EMR.
• Maintain accuracy and uphold patient confidentiality.
• Mentor new associates.
