Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required/preferred.
• Technical school certificate or equivalent post-secondary education preferred.
• Experience with computers and medical software (EMR/EPM) a plus.
• Basic knowledge of insurance and billing processes helpful.

Responsibilities

• Reviews schedules and verifies eligibility and pre-certifications for patient visits.
• Documents attempts to collect missing information and maintains accuracy goals.
• Monitors wait times and collaborates with clinical teams to avoid delays.
• Serves as patient liaison with physician offices and schedules patients per protocols.
• Screens calls and directs to appropriate personnel; explains charges and payment options.
