Job summary

You will verify benefits, assist with pre-certifications, and help patients understand financial responsibilities while collaborating with clinical teams to minimize delays in care. This entry-level role offers day-one benefits and on-site training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Experience with computers and electronic medical records is preferred.
• Basic understanding of billing and insurance terminology is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Reviews eligibility and benefits verification for patient visits and ensures pre-certifications are correct to avoid denials.
• Monitors schedules, reports, and collects required documentation to expedite care.
• Acts as patient liaison, coordinating with clinical teams and physician offices.
• Screens incoming calls and directs to appropriate personnel.
• Registers patients and explains financial responsibilities and payment options.
