Responsibilities

• Checks in and registers patients; collects co-pays and out-of-pocket amounts.
• Obtains complete demographic, guarantor, and insurance information at point of registration.
• Greets patients, answers inquiries, and coordinates transportation or interpreter services as needed.
• Answers calls, screens messages, and provides routine information to patients.
• Monitors and manages electronic health record work queues following approved processes.
