• Registers patients and handles registration functions, collects consents and financial paperwork.
• Answers phones and responds to inquiries in a timely, service-oriented manner.
• Addresses non-clinical questions and provides excellent customer service.
• Performs documentation audits for medical necessity and payor requirements using EMR systems.
• Schedules procedures and educates patients on pre-/post-exam requirements when applicable.
• Maintains organized files and scans medical records, manages front desk communications.
• Monitors and orders front desk supplies to control costs.
• Participates in staff meetings and ensures CMS requirements for eligibility and coverage are communicated to patients.
