Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient registration and registration-related tasks to ensure accurate data for reimbursement
• Identify patient records using Patient Secure and verify EMTALA compliance
• Obtain and document demographics, visit and financial information
• Communicate clearly with patients and staff; explain insurance, payment options, and privacy practices
• Process payments, co-pays, and out-of-pocket estimates in accordance with department policies
• Ensure proper documentation and follow-up for insurance verification and eligibility
• Support EDT, CIC, and HIM workflows and maintain high service quality
