Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED upon hire.
• 1 year relevant experience in healthcare, patient access setting is preferred, along with knowledge of patient registration procedures and documentation, health insurance payers, and real-time insurance eligibility verifications.

Responsibilities

• Accurately capture and verify patient demographics and insurance information for billing and clinical workflows.
• Provide a positive, professional experience for patients and families, communicating clearly about financial responsibilities and appointment logistics.
• Maintain privacy compliance (HIPAA) while managing high-volume registration, scheduling, and documentation tasks.
• Identify and resolve registration discrepancies and escalate complex issues to ensure workflow continuity.
