Job summary

Cooperative Health is seeking a Patient Service Representative to support clinical staff by handling administrative tasks that initiate the revenue cycle. The role involves collecting demographics and insurance data, entering information into the EMR, and ensuring accurate financial processing.

The PSR will greet patients, assist with registration, balance cash, explain release forms, and coordinate referrals and GSP applications while delivering excellent customer service to patients and staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Billing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medical coding and third-party operating procedures and practices preferred.
• Bi-lingual/bi-cultural applicants encouraged.
• Medical office experience preferred.
• Knowledge of business office procedures.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and collect required documents.
• Enter patient data in EMR and schedule appointments.
• Balance and reconcile payments daily.
• Assist with Registration forms and GSP applications.
