Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Registering all patients according to hospital policies and procedures.
• Obtaining signatures of patient and/or guarantor for required forms.
• Documenting patient name and arrival time in logs.
• Explain insurance eligibility, benefits, and estimated patient portion to patients.
• Documenting accounts at registration and during collection efforts.
• Greet patients and family members promptly and professionally.
• Maintain patient information confidentiality per HIPAA guidelines.
