The Carolina Family Care, Inc. (CFC) West Campus EDS center in Charleston partners with MUSC Health to deliver concierge primary care for EDS patients.

The role focuses on patient greeting, scheduling, financial counseling, and ensuring accurate demographics and insurance data in EPIC. Responsibilities include collecting co-pays, assessing funding options (Medicaid, financial assistance), processing forms, and communicating clearly with patients and care teams to optimize the patient experience

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• One year of customer service experience.
• Ability to interpret and apply financial procedures and regulations.
• Previous experience with hospital information systems preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Greets and welcomes patients and families; optimizes clinic efficiency by scheduling appointments.
• Collects co-pays and prior balances; updates patient accounts with demographic and insurance data.
• Protects patient confidentiality and ensures compliance with state/federal regulations.
• Provide financial counseling, assist with funding sources and document in EPIC.
• Communicate clearly with patients and care teams to maintain a high level of service.
