Carolina Family Care, Inc. (CFC) is hiring an on-site patient access and financial counseling specialist for the West Ashley area.

You will greet patients, confirm demographics, schedule appointments, collect co-pays, and ensure accurate registrations while maintaining a friendly and professional atmosphere. You will evaluate coverage options, assist with Medicaid or other financial assistance applications, provide cost estimates with Epic, and guide patients through payment plans.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of customer service experience preferred.
• Experience with hospital information systems or word processing preferred.
• Ability to interpret and apply financial procedures and regulations preferred.

Responsabilités

• Greet patients, schedule appointments, and register patients accurately.
• Collect co-pays and prior balances; ensure timely payments.
• Maintain confidentiality and protect patient information.
• Assist with Medicaid/financial assistance applications and insurance coverage.
• Provide cost estimates using Epic and discuss payment options with patients.
• Collaborate with clinical and billing teams to improve patient experience.
