Responsibilities

• Obtain demographic/billing/insurance information from patient and enter into the registration/billing systems.
• Collect deposits/co-payments/deductibles/patient liability payments when applicable, provide receipts and document in systems.
• Prepare consent forms, notices of privacy practices, and obtain signatures for consent to treat and patient financial obligations.
• Balance daily receipts and cash drawer; follow up on system flags and notes.
• Schedule, reschedule, or cancel patient appointments in line with hospital workflows.
