Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience: 0–2 years in registration or 3+ years in customer service.
• Proficiency with MS Outlook and hospital information systems.

Responsibilities

• Delivers outstanding customer service to internal and external customers.
• Ensures data integrity for patient demographics, insurance and admissions.
• Verifies patient insurance using various methods.
• Collects insurance copays from patients.
• Maintains accurate documentation in patient accounts for workflow efficiency.
• Collaborates with team to cover Admitting or Emergency Department as needed.
• Attends departmental meetings and participates in coverage rotations.
