Responsibilities

• Identify patients during check-in to prevent duplicates.
• Schedule and verify patient appointments and demographics.
• Verify insurance information and obtain authorizations.
• Collect copays and balances at point of service.
• Enter data accurately in the Epic system.
• Explain forms and obtain signatures for consent.
• Balance daily cash and deposits; support billing process.
• Adhere to regulatory guidelines and Grady policies.
