Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three years medical office experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Epic EMR navigation.

Responsibilities

• Process referrals for new and existing patients and schedule appointments.
• Assist potential new patients and referring offices with new patient processes amid high call volume.
• Answer and screen incoming calls and route inquiries appropriately.
• Verify demographics, insurance, and patient history; manage new patient referrals in Epic.
• Establish and maintain logs to track referral production and follow up on pending issues.
• Complete MINI registration in EPIC and schedule patient with provider.
• Notify manager of urgent requests and ensure records are available.
