Job summary

Education includes a high school diploma or GED with two years of related experience; strong computer, data collection and communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in a medical office, call center, patient access area, or customer service.
• Typing speed of 35 CWPM required.
• Strong verbal, written, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of Windows, Excel, and Internet/Intranet navigation tools.

Responsibilities

• Triages patient calls according to established algorithms and answers questions.
• Schedules appointments for multiple specialties and primary care physicians.
• Performs quality data collection including demographic, physician and insurance information.
• Supports clinic operations and revenue cycle while delivering high levels of customer service.
