Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED, required.
• Experience: 1 year in patient access/registration in a medical environment preferred.
• Must be able to interact with diverse populations and handle confidential information.
• Demonstrates knowledge of government payors and coordination of benefits.

Responsabilités

• Capture and enter accurate patient demographic and financial information.
• Enter information into the patient management system.
• Provide bedside registration when required and assist mobility in the clinic.
• Coordinate insurance verification and financial counseling before scheduled appointments.
• Assist patients with billing questions and discuss insurance coverage.
• Ensure documentation is complete and compliant with regulatory guidelines.
