Qualifications

• Verifies insurance coverage using RTE, Phreesia, or payer portals.
• Interviews patients to complete Medicare Secondary Payer (MSPQ) questionnaire.
• Performs outpatient registration and checks referrals/authorizations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with patients and staff to ensure a smooth registration process.
• Collects patient payments and determines out-of-pocket liabilities at the point of service.
• Verifies and documents insurance information and referrals for outpatient visits.
• Rotates among Registration and ED areas as needed.
