Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Outpatient/Admissions: Minimum 3 years of customer service experience, in customer facing roles.
• Current Jefferson Seamless Access Representatives with at least 1 year of experience qualify.

Aufgaben

• Provides a positive patient experience to patients and families.
• Registers patients and gathers demographic and insurance information.
• Verifies insurance coverage and collects patient out-of-pocket liability/copays.
• Searches and selects correct patient records and enters orders.
• Completes MSPQ questionnaire for Medicare patients.
• Uses Real Time Eligibility or payer websites to verify coverage.
• Ensures referrals and authorizations are on file as needed.
• Interacts professionally with coworkers, patients, and staff.
