The role handles inbound and outbound calls, schedules and pre-registers patients in the SMS and Cerner systems, and may collect co-pays during pre-registration. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years healthcare experience preferred.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Customer-focused with attention to detail and good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Take inbound and outbound calls.
• Schedule and pre-register patients in SMS and Cerner systems within 24 hours of notification.
• Attempt to collect co-pays and deductibles at pre-registration.
• Perform insurance verification and eligibility checks.
• Assist with prior authorizations and referrals when needed.
• Coordinate with hospital departments to resolve issues and document accordingly.
