Job summary

Mount Sinai Hospital seeks an experienced Manager of Patient Access Services for evening, full-time coverage. Leads supervisors and frontline staff across hospital service areas, ensuring accurate patient registration, insurance verification, and financial clearance while maintaining compliance and patient-centered service.

Works with IT, Revenue Cycle, and Clinical leadership to optimize access workflows. The role requires 3+ years of supervisory experience in patient access or revenue cycle

Qualifications

• Experience leading Patient Access or front-end revenue cycle operations in a hospital or large health system.
• Strong knowledge of registration, insurance verification, and financial clearance processes.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily Patient Access operations to ensure accurate registration, insurance capture, and compliance with payer requirements.
• Monitor performance metrics and drive corrective actions to improve productivity and data quality.
• Lead process improvements to enhance efficiency and data integrity; ensure staff onboarding and regulatory training.
• Collaborate with HR, IT, and operational leadership to support revenue cycle goals and patient experience.
