Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred; or HS diploma with equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of leadership in Patient Access or revenue cycle.
• Experience in a unionized healthcare environment preferred; EPIC experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily Patient Access operations to ensure accurate registration, insurance verification, and compliance with regulatory and payer requirements.
• Monitor performance metrics related to productivity, accuracy, and quality; implement corrective actions as needed.
• Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and data integrity.
• Ensure staff onboarding, ongoing education, and regulatory training, including customer service standards (AIDET).
• Collaborate with IT and Revenue Cycle teams to optimize Patient Access workflows within EPIC.
• Supervise Patient Access supervisors, leads, and frontline staff; foster accountability and service excellence.
