Job summary

Northwestern Medicine is seeking an Access Manager to lead the NMHC Access Division across Glenview, Grayslake, Deerfield, Vernon Hills, and Gurnee. The role includes an on-call schedule and a flexible workday to support registration, scheduling, and financial counseling across the NM System.

The manager is responsible for fiscal, human resource, and quality outcomes, translating the mission into action and developing talent while ensuring excellent patient service across all touchpoints.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Health Care or related field is required.
• Progressive leadership experience is required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Proficient problem solving and decision making skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversees all aspects of the Access Division operations across multiple sites.
• Manages budget and operating capital, ensuring fiscal control.
• Recruits, retains, and develops staff to meet organizational needs.
• Ensures safety, quality, and patient satisfaction across services.
• Collaborates with medical leadership to implement programs and systems.
• Monitors KPIs and drives continuous improvement initiatives.
