Job summary

Med-Metrix, LLC in Arlington, VA seeks a Supervisor, Patient Access to oversee the insurance verification, financial clearance and authorization team. You will monitor daily workflows, coordinate with front desk leadership, and drive productivity and quality in patient access operations.

Responsibilities include coaching, training, reporting on throughput and QA, and maintaining HIPAA compliance in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience managing the front desk at a physician practice or leading an insurance verification team for a third party billing office or similar setting
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work well individually and in a team environment
• Reliability, responsibility, goal orientation and flexibility
• Strong problem solving and judgement with timely analyses

Responsibilities

• Monitors all pieces of insurance verification, financial clearance and authorization workflow
• Ensures targets for financial clearance days out, POS collections and denials reduction are met
• Manages team productivity and coaching to meet metrics
• Performs weekly QA and addresses performance issues with training and action plans
• Provides training and supports resolution of client inquiries
• Prepares daily/weekly reports on escalations, appointments, and inventory
