Job summary

Responsibilities include greeting patients, scheduling appointments, entering data in EMR, collecting payments, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA and hospital policies. Per diem shifts may include weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Greeting patients and staff promptly and professionally.
• Accurately check-in and direct patients based on appointment location and counseling status.
• Verify insurance eligibility and obtain billing information as needed.
• Schedule and admit patients following EMR protocols.
• Maintain patient demographics and financial information for accurate identification.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient registration and scheduling support.
• Obtain required signatures for consents and notifications.
• Communicate estimates for services and solicit patient liability.
