Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (associates preferred)
• Outpatient/Admissions: Minimum 3 years of customer service experience
• Current Jefferson Seamless Access Representatives with a minimum of 1 year of experience will be considered as meeting the experience requirement

Responsibilities

• Register patients for outpatient visits and obtain complete demographic and insurance information
• Search and select the correct patient and confirm medical necessity for visits
• Collect patient out-of-pocket liability/copays and verify insurance details
• Rotates through points of service within Patient Access and ensures referrals/authorizations on file when required
