Hill Valley Healthcare is seeking a detail-oriented Central Intake Coordinator to support our admissions process across facilities in the West Coast Region. You will be the first point of contact for referrals and play a key role in accurate intake and timely bed placement.

This role emphasizes compliant documentation, effective communication with clinical teams and referral sources, and maintaining up-to-date records in EMR systems.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in healthcare intake, admissions, referrals, or case management preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple referrals and deadlines simultaneously.
• Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfort working with electronic medical records and intake systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the central point of contact for all incoming referrals.
• Review referral documentation for accuracy, completeness, and eligibility.
• Coordinate admissions with facility teams, clinical staff, and referral sources.
• Verify patient information, insurance coverage, and required documentation.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date intake records in internal systems.
• Communicate admission status clearly and professionally to all stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Support timely bed placement and admission decisions.
• Assist with intake reporting and process improvements.
