Responsibilities

• Schedule patients accurately for hospital services and registrations.
• Pre-register and register patients with complete and accurate records.
• Verify insurance eligibility, benefits, pre-certifications and referrals.
• Coordinate admissions with nursing and bed placement.
• Obtain signatures and financial information; discuss payment responsibilities.
• Assist patients with financial counseling and arrangements per policy.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient charts and scheduling information.
